Pastor Rick Grant, Senior Pastor
Rick was raised in a Christian home in Canada, and has attended church his whole life. It has always been in his heart to be a servant, and has fond memories of helping his childhood Pastor building their church, literally one brick at a time. As a young teen, he loved to sing and spent several years touring with southern gospel groups. He made his living in the insurance industry, yet his heart found him in service at the local church as a leader and worship leader. He married Fran in 1987 and together they continued to minister in music and remained faithful servants in their local church and generally ‘doing life together’. In December 1992, Rick left his insurance job and he and Fran moved with their four young children to Orlando to be music ministers. In the years that followed, Rick has had many experiences as worship leader, associate pastor and senior pastor. He has worked in churches of all sizes- from very small to mega church with people of all ages and various cultures. Throughout his ministry, he has maintained his passion for serving, and has believed it is best taught by example. He began at Way of Grace in November of 2009 as Senior Pastor.
Miss Fran
Fran was born and raised in Canada, in a Christian home. Music has always been her passion and her first solo in church was at the age of 3. Throughout her growing years she continued to sing and added piano skills to her repertoire. After marrying Rick in 1987, together with their children, they continued to minister in song as a family. Her heart for her family was always a priority, and it was her greatest joy to raise the children God had entrusted her with. She has always supported her husband in the ministry in whatever way was needed over the years, and has faithfully been at his side. Fran is a teacher and loves to communicate the Word of God in simple, practical and relevant ways and shares this gift at Way of Grace on Wednesday evenings.
Pastor Andy Gillis, Youth Pastor
I’ve been a youth pastor since August of 2004. It’s been the greatest experience of my life. Following what God tells you to do always seems to work out great. Imagine that? I was the president of GP Rhino Gates and Doors for 7 years and began youth ministry as a part time thing, just trying to help the church out. Little did the pastor know that God had already been dealing with my heart before he ever came and ask me to fill the position. Well here I am. I stepped away from my company and followed God’s call on my life. You always gotta be on your toes and ready for whatever He throws at you.
